Integra Support Atlantic Dash Challenge
6 December 2011
John Haskell, husband of
Integra's marketing Sian Haskell, has now set off on his bid to row
3000 miles across the Atlantic. John and his fire fighter
colleague, Jamie Windsor from South Wales Fire Service will now
face the greatest challenge of their lives.
As Team Atlantic Dash on rowing boat, The Pendovey Swift 2, they
are taking part in one of the world's toughest races rowing 3000
miles across the Atlantic Ocean. Their goal: to raise awareness and
over £100,000 for The Fire Fighters Charity, Breast Cancer Care,
Help for Heroes and WRVS (Women's Royal Voluntary Service). John
and Jamie will face physical and emotional turmoil as they endure
the unpredictability of the weather and the ocean in their
self-sufficient bid to cross the Atlantic.
More people have been in space or have climbed Everest than have
rowed the Atlantic. If you would like to support Team
Atlantic Dash on their journey and to help them raise £100,000
please visit their website www.atlanticdash.co.uk.

John and Jamie would like to thank everyone at Integra and
members together with suppliers from within the industry who have
supported them so far. They were delighted to hear of the recent
donation received following the Spotlight 2011 Integra National
Conference which totalled over £2500 and which will go directly to
their nominated charities. This follows on from the Integra
Marketing teams skydive earlier in the year which raised over £3000
again thanks to everyone within the industry.
